Every ReLife leadwire is inspected, cleaned, tested and tracked at LifeSync’s Florida headquarters before it is returned. Are reprocessed and reusable ECG lead wires the same thing?

No. Reusable lead wires are cleaned by hospital staff between patients. Reprocessed leadwires are collected after use, then cleaned, tested and tracked in a controlled reprocessing facility before they are returned.

How many times can a leadwire be reprocessed, and how is that tracked?

Each ReLife leadwire can be reprocessed up to four times, a limit validated through testing. Every leadwire carries a barcode flag label, and cycle-management software records each pass, so no leadwire is ever reprocessed beyond its validated limit.

Which ECG leadwires does ReLife accept?

ReLife covers the LifeSync ECG leadwires on our RPO product list. Tell us which leadwires and monitor connections you use today, and we’ll send the current list and confirm which ones can join the program.

How do we collect and return used lead wires?

LifeSync provides ReLife collection bins for your units, so used leadwires go into the bin instead of the trash. When bins are full, our logistics partner picks them up and returns them to LifeSync in Coral Springs, Florida. The leadwires are reprocessed there and sent back to you under the same SKU.

What happens to leadwires that fail inspection?

Leadwires that are damaged or fail testing are never reprocessed or returned for patient use. They are scrapped and sent for environmental recycling where possible.

Will reprocessing disrupt our supply?

No. With ReLife’s Reprocessed Product Optimization (RPO) model, new and reprocessed leadwires are combined under one SKU. If fewer used leadwires come back, new LifeSync leadwires fill the gap, so ordering and availability stay the same.
